Join qualified Mountain Leader Dave Town and Kate Jackson for a guided trail running weekend along the historic 62.5km Isaac's Tea Trail, a classic long-distance route through one of England’s most remote and unspoiled landscapes.
This two-day trail running adventure begins and ends in Allendale, following a stunning out-and-back route to Alston Youth Hostel. Expect expansive moorland, quiet trails, and a true sense of journey as you run through the heart of the North Pennines.
Designed for runners who want to take on a rewarding point-to-point challenge, build confidence over longer distances, and enjoy the simplicity of a shared mountain experience, this weekend blends adventure, support, and exploration in a relaxed small-group setting.
With expert guidance, steady pacing, and a supportive atmosphere, you’ll enjoy both the challenge and the camaraderie of this unique trail running experience.
Guided trail run from Allendale to Alston (Day 1) – Overnight stay at Alston Youth Hostel – Evening meal on Saturday night – Breakfast on Sunday morning – Guided return run from Alston back to Allendale (Day 2) – Coaching, navigation, and support from qualified Mountain Leader – Small-group experience for a friendly and sociable atmosphere.
